projects

Let me tell you about some of the projects I've been busy with lately.  First, I donated one of my crocheted eggs to AARF's art auction fundraiser.  Maybe that doesn't really count as a "project" because it was already made.

I've been working on the book for putAtoring collaborative book art project that Allison Rentz started.  We had some people over a few weeks ago and they contributed, too.  At first I was a little skeptical about the project but this book is turning out to be very nice and I imagine that the others will be, too.  The books will all come together for a show in May.

Okay, okay, what else?  Oh yeah--I submitted a proposal for a Rhizome Commission.  It's a project I've been thinking about a lot.  I submitted the proposal as part of SpaceTemple.  Maybe I will tell you more about it later.

Current and Upcoming:
What's next, you may ask.  Well, right now I'm hemming a coworker's pants.  And soon I'll be working on some wedding gifts for Chris and Robin, Adam and Violeta.  Also, I have a stack of mending projects in my craft area.  And, I just received a delivery of 275 tea towels that need to be screenprinted.  And, and, and...

  1. ahhh my friend nick is in charge of that! I could "put in" a "good" "word" (probably meaningless).

  2. Christa, which "project" "?"
Also, I'd like to relate a little story about the putAtoring book I have. I accidentally "stole" it from Youngblood because I thought the tag said "$0", but maybe it was really a big circle, not a zero.
