Starting Seeds

I've started some seeds indoors; I'm trying to grow some veggies this year. The hot peppers and catnip have already started to sprout! It's very exciting. Tonight I'm going to set up a florescent lamp for the plants. I'm afraid they won't make it to the spring because it's kind of dark in my apartment. And cold. But we'll see.

I have also started a compost bin. I got the recipe from yougrowgirl.com. They also have this seed starting excel sheet that helps you figure out when to plant your seeds (I just love spreadsheets!).
