Sewing!

This is the finished quilt top. I need to make a back and the buy some batting. I'm going to do the quilting by hand, I've had trouble with bunching and etc. when machine quilting. I've read about "utility quilting," which uses larges stitches and heavy thread. It's supposed to be a fast but sturdy method, and I'd like to try this because I don't really like how tying looks, and I don't think it would look good with this design.

Actually, this is a lot nicer than most of the ones I've made. Most of them are just shapes cut from felt: sea creatures, foods, balloons.
